About the Visual Arts Course

The degree course of the Visual Arts specialty is provided at the first (Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts) and Second (Master of Arts in Visual Arts) levels of higher education. Visual Art is an academic discipline that equips students with the artistic and technical skills necessary to create various art forms, such as paintings, drawings, sculptures, photos, videos, and films. Visual art forms have a significant cultural component and aim at communicating ideas, entertaining, awakening emotions in us, and much more. The Educational Process

International students of the International European University, Ukraine – Malta Campus study core studio units to develop their creative practice through projects designed to expand their awareness of the potentialities of contemporary art practice and units in art history. Students have access to state-of-the-art facilities to produce artwork in a range of mediums including ceramics, glass, jewelry, painting, photography, print media, screen arts, and sculpture. Our highly experienced technical team will be on hand to share their expertise, provide relevant technical support and show you how to safely use the equipment.

Depending on your specialization, a Visual Arts degree at IEU, Ukraine – Malta Campus may include classes in Sketch and Composition, Design and Layout, Photographic Seeing, Art History, Visual Culture, Visual Language, Typography, Ideas and Stories, etc. The Visual Arts academic program at IEU, Ukraine – Malta Campus provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge to teach with an emphasis on visual literacy foundations. Emphasis is also placed upon collaborative teaching processes, whilst acknowledging the importance of individual creative practice.
